Letizia joined KAUST in 2018. She worked in previous roles before joining the Student Counseling Services Team in April 2020.

Her role is to enhance student academic success and personal well-being. As Education Specialist, Letizia supports students' needs and development with multiple services and tools. One of these is implementing diverse educational and outreach programs, targeted to support students in their professional and personal growth. She also serves as a primary member of the Campus Assessment, Resource, Education (CARE) Team and the Clinical Crisis Team (CCT). In addition, Letizia serves as primary member of the Community Mental Health Committee (CMHC), which brings together mental health professionals from across University departments.

Before joining KAUST, Letizia worked as HR Consultant in a Management Company, focusing on Learning and Development. She used to implement educational training based on soft skills development, indoor and outdoor tutoring activities to empower and increase performance.

Letizia received her BA and MA Degrees in Psychology of Communication and Development from the Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2015. She pursued her studies to reach the professional qualification as a Licensed Psychologist in 2017.

She likes reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with friends in her free time.
